Peter Purcell is one of Australia’s leading re-recording mixers, Peter and Chris have been partners in Pow Wow Film Studios for the past 7 years and over this period have been the leading sound post production studio producing feature films for FOX studios Sydney, MGM in the USA as well as many IMAX movies.

His recent credits include the re-record mix for Russel Crowes new feature film ‘Poker Face’ which was filmed here in Sydney. Peter was on the Oscar award winning team for Mad Max: Fury Road.

 

Peter has been one of Australia’s top sound mixers for many years working on both films and television series his credits include in film The Water Diviner, The Lego Movie, Happy Feet 1 & 2, The Railway Man, Gods of Egypt and Knowing.

 

His TV credits include Doctor Doctor, Water Rats, Police Rescue, Sea Patrol and highly acclaimed and award winning Si-Fi series Farscape just to name a few.
